Sultry Sally Potato Chips - Great Packaging, Shame About The Chips

................ I love potato chips. Who doesn't? The other day in my local deli I saw a big display of these new potato chips with the coolest potato chip packaging ever. I don't even care that the chips taste like crispy cardboard. I think there are two other flavours (besides Salt & Vinegar and Thai Sweet Chilli and Lime, the ones I got) so I gotta get those and put them up here soon. Well, have you ever seen a more wonderful and awesome potato chip packet design?

Well, I hope they improve the flavour. And I too am a big salt & vinegar fan. We're salty snack brothers!

Sorry Sally - stick to being sultry or whatever activities those teenage-style innuendo shots of you with the bottles and rods suggest. The chips are god awful. Taste like cardboard. What I can't understand is how did a guy who's reasonably smart (Nudie) get it so wrong. One taste and you'd have worked out these will be a dog of a product. Not to mention the SALT content will push your blood pressure through the roof. Extruded potato + tonnes of salt + no oil not a good chip maketh. I know they're 80% less fat - well I'd rather eat 1 normal chip to 8 of yours and actually enjoy it!
Just goes to show - a dud product with great marketing will get....get you nowhere. The first google page brings up these kinds of bad vibes about the product!
Cheers XOX Nancy

I tried the salt and vinegar 75% less fat chip from Sultry Sallys. I thought it was great, albeit it is 93% fat free, rather than the original 97% fat free. It was mildly dry, but i used to make these style chips in the microwave by thinly slicing potato and placing in a special chip holder which was from the UK. Any potato chip with little fat is going to taste mildy dry. It seems that the company is slowly increasing the fat content..maybe to make a better tasting chip.
