It's called, "Obsession." These girls probably began talking about getting even with their boyfriends for some imagined sleight as a lark. Maybe then began to wonder what the reaction would be if they actually did the deed. Then they imagined they were much closer friends than they probably were and each became obsessed with the idea of what they were discussing and each refused to be embarrassed by being first to admit it was a stupid obsession. From there it was all downhill. They failed to take into consideration they personally wouldn't have any satisfaction AFTER the deed was done. Each was comsumned with a false sense of honor and obligation to the other, forgetting there would be no way either of them could know the feeling of satisfaction of their actions AFTER it was done. They forgot to remember it would be all over for them before they even hit the ground and their boyfriends would still be right where they left them.
It's easy to get into a rut- very hard to get out without outside help; someone to pull on the tow rope.
who knows why exactly they did it, but i did notice like usual they try to blame the music... people cant look beyond the exterior most the time..maybe there was some other fucked up family issues that no one is talking about... anyways..sigh.:)

This is my opinion:

Me, I have no idea why teenagers act as they do and I would bet they don't either.
Think back to when you were a teen. Very few really know what the hell is going on.
